This specimen was lot 2211 in Goldberg sale 87 (Los Angeles, September 2015), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. Ducat, 1589. Rudolf II, 1576-1612. Prague mint. Ruler standing to right holding sword and orb. Reverse: Crowned shield with Order of Golden Fleece. Sharply struck example with much original mint luster. NGC graded AU-58."
