This type was struck at the Brussels mint 1994-2001 for Belgium. A similar type (KM 187) was struck with French legends. The Brussels mint ceased operations in 2018 and Belgium orders its coins from the Utrecht mint. King Albert II, depicted here, ruled 1993-2013.
