This specimen was lot 1102 in Jean Elsen sale 110 (Brussels, September 2011) where it sold for € 500 (about US$806 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold Ier (1831-1865), Cu 10 centimes, 1847 sur 1837, BRAEMT F. avec point. Petit coup sur la tranche. Fleur de Coin. (Kingdom of Belgium, Leopold I (1831-65), copper ten centimes, 1847/37, BRAEMT F. with dot. Tiny rim nick, Uncirculated.)"
The SCWC shows this type for 1832-56. In 1861 it was replaced by a smaller, copper-nickel piece the size of a United States nickel. The 1847/37 is listed as more common than the regular date.
