This specimen was lot 1231 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, seit 1806 Königreich. Ludwig I. 1825-1848. Dukat 1826, München. Selten. Nur 696 Exemplare geprägt. Kleine Kratzer auf Avers. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Louis I, 1825-48, ducat of 1826, Munich mint. Rare. Only 696 specimens struck. NGC UNC Details. Small scratches on obverse.)"
This three year type is scarce. Some of the issue of 1828 has the king's name revised to read "LUDWIG I".
