Sincona sale 11, lot 762

This specimen was lot 762 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, Königreich Maximilian IV. (I.) Joseph, 1799-1825. Konventionstaler 1800, München. Min. just. und Graffiti Av. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian Joseph, 1799-1825, convention thaler of 1800, Munich mint. Minor adjustment marks and grafitti on the obverse, nice extremely fine.)"

This type is listed for 1799-1802. The issue of 1799 bears Davenport number 1975. Tho less common than the Madonna thalers of the 1760's and 1780's, it is not rare.
