This specimen was lot 2414 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, Herzogtum, seit 1623 Kurfürstentum, seit 1806 Königreich. Maximilian III. Joseph, 1745-1777. 5 Dukaten 1747, München. Präsent der bayerischen Landstände zur Vermählung mit Maria Anna, Tochter von Friedrich August, König von Polen und Kurfürst von Sachsen. Die Brustbilder des Kurfürsten und seiner Gemahlin nebeneinander nach rechts, darunter die Stempelschneidersignatur F • A • S • (Franz Andreas Schega, Stempelschneider in München 1739-1787). Rv. Die nach rechts kniende Bavaria weist auf eine Pyramide mit neunzeiliger Widmungsinschrift, davor der bayerische Rautenschild. Mit Laubrand. Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian III Joseph, 1745-1777. five ducats of 1747, Munich mint. Presented by the Bavarian Estates on the occasion of his marriage to Maria Anna, daughter of Frederick Augustus, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony. Obverse: the busts of the Elector and his wife side by side facing right, below them the engraver's signature F • A • S • (Franz Andreas Schega, die-cutter in Munich 1739-1787); reverse: the kneeling Bavaria, facing right, points to a pyramid with a nine-line dedicatory inscription, in front of it the Bavarian arms. With leafed edge, Very rare, Extremely Fine.)"
