Bavaria 1728 3 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 3501 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €40 (about US$52 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Karl Albert, 1726-1745. 3 Kreuzer (Groschen) 1728, München. Etwas Belag, vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Charles Albert, 1726-45, three kreuzer or groschen of 1728, Munich mint. Slightly bent, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1726-33 and is about twice the price of groschen of Maximilian II Emanuel (KM 383). Like many coins of the period, it was made using roller dies, accounting for the curl.
