This specimen was lot 3478 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €80 (about US$105 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Maximilian II. Emanuel, 1679-1726. 15 Kreuzer (1/4 Gulden) 1702, München. Vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian II, 1679-1726, fifteen kreuzer or quarter gulden of 1702, Munich mint. Extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1696-1703. Varieties exist in the circle around the elector's bust; on some, the circle is solid; on others, the circle is beaded. Fifteen kreuzer = ¼ gulden = 1/6 thaler.
