Basel 1788 12 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 4073 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 110 CHF (about US$160 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Bistum Basel, Joseph Sigismund von Roggenbach, 1782-1793. 12 Kreuzer 1788, Pruntrut. Schräg gerippter Rand. Fast vorzüglich. (Switzerland, bishopric of Basel, Joseph Sigismund of Roggenbach, 1782-93, twelve kreuzer of 1788, Pruntrut mint, obliquely reeded edge. About Extremely Fine.)"
The bishop of Basel was driven from his seat when Basel turned Protestant during the Reformation. He resided in Pruntrut and issued coins from there. This type was struck 1786-88 with the 1788 being the most available date. One convention thaler was 120 kreuzer.
