This specimen was lot 4031 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$617 including buyers' fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Basel, Stadt und Kanton, Taler 1676, Basel. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Flaue Stellen und rauer Schrötling. (Switzerland, canton of Basel, thaler of 1676, Basel mint. Rare, Good Very Fine, Some weakly struck areas and rough planchet.)"

This type was struck 1669 and 1676 and this is the scarcer date.
