This specimen was lot 1043 in Jean Elsen sale 118 (Brussels, September 2013), where it sold for €60 (about US$95 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, BADE, Friedrich II (1907-1918), AR 5 Mark, 1913 G, Superbe. (Germany, kingdom of Baden, Frederick II (1907-18), silver five mark of 1913, extremely fine.)"

The second specimen was lot 2501 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[2] noted, "BADEN: Friedrich II, 1907-1918, AR 5 mark, 1913-G, some hairlines, nice peripheral toning, two-year type, Choice XF." This type was struck 1908 and 1913 and is fairly common in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 244,000.

Specification: 27.77 g, 0.900 fine silver, 38 mm diameter.
