This specimen was lot 32838 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Baden. Friedrich I 1/2 Gulden 1862 MS66 PCGS. Flashy rainbow colors grant a unique allure to this already highly-desired design, with the oak leaves on the reverse taking on a semi-frosted finish." This type was struck 1860-65 and is common. It accompanied a gulden, thaler and double gulden.
