This specimen was lot 1127 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $117.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "BADEN: Leopold, 1830-1852, AR 6 kreuzer, 1840, PCGS graded MS66+, ex Don Erickson Collection." This type was struck 1839-50, 1855-56 and is common. In southern Germany, four pfennig = one kreuzer. In 1871, the currency was reformed to use pfennig and marks and the kreuzer was dropped.
