This specimen was lot 1224 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Taler zu 100 Kreuzer 1829. Fast sehr schön. (Grand duchy of Baden-Durlach, thaler of 100 kreuzer of 1829, nice very fine.)"
This type of 1829-30 is available. It is closer in weight to the later vereinsthaler rather than the kronenthaler. The grand duchy issued coins until 1918.
Recorded mintage: 167,750.
Specification: 18.14 g, 0.900 fine silver, .510 troy oz ASW; this specimen is 17.86 g.
