This specimen was lot 1127 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Baden-Durlach, Grossherzogtum, Ludwig, 1818-1830 5 Gulden 1827. Karlsruhe Mit glattem Rand. Vorzüglich. Kleiner Schrötlingsfehler und winz. Druckstelle. (Germany, grand duchy of Baden-Durlach, Louis, 1818-30, five gulden of 1827, Karlsruhe mint, Extremely fine, Minor planchet defect and tiny scratch.)"
The five gulden denomination was issued 1819-28 and all dates are rare. The grand duchy issued coins until 1918.
