This specimen was lot 74083 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $89. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 25 Schillings, 1959. Vienna Mint. PCGS PROOF-65 Cameo. Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Archduke Johann." Archduke John (1782-1859) was a younger brother of emperor Francis II and a field marshal in the Austrian army who fought and lost to the French several times 1800-09. His alleged liberal tendencies put him out of favor with the Metternich regime and he was sidelined thereafter.

Recorded mintage: 1,899,000 plus 1,000 proofs.
