The first specimen was lot 3299 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $83.30. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Franz Josef I, 1848-1916, AE 2 heller, 1914, a lovely mostly red example! NGC graded MS65 RB." This type was 1892-1915 as part of the reform which decimalized Austrian coinage, then converted to iron for 1916-18.
Recorded mintage: 60,674,000.
