This specimen was lot 6009 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,098 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KAISERREICH ÖSTERREICH, Franz Josef I. 1848-1916. Dukat 1869, A, Wien. Feingold. GOLD. Vorzüglich. (empire of Austria-Hungary, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, ducat of 1869, Vienna mint. Extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1867-72 from Vienna, Kremnitz and Karlsburg but is common. Gold ducats were struck throughout Franz Josef's long reign and come in many types.
