This specimen was lot 74328 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Ducat, 1860-E. Karlsburg Mint. Franz Joseph. PCGS MS-61. A sharply struck Ducat with minimal surface marks, a dark yellow tone, and shimmering luster." This type was struck 1860-65 at Vienna, Kremnitz, Karlsburg and Venice and is common.

Recorded mintage: 263,642.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine silver, 21 mm diameter, reeded edge.
