This specimen was lot 22078 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $188. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1845. KM-2240. Lightly cleaned. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." This type was struck 1837-48 at Vienna ("A") and Milan ("M") but is only scarce. Thalers were struck to this weight standard until 1852.
