Künker sale 400, lot 352

This specimen was lot 352 in Künker sale 400 (Berlin, February 2024), where it sold for €6,500 (about US$8,433 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, 'Leopold I. 1657-1705. 2 Dukaten 1680, IAN, Graz. Geharnischtes Brustbild r. mit Lorbeerkranz, umgelegtem Mantel und der Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies//Gekröntes, mehrfeldiges Wappen, umher die Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies. GOLD. RR Feine Goldpatina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion H. D. Rauch 106, Wien 2018, Nr. 1320. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, double ducat of 1680, Graz mint. Obverse: armored, mantled and laureate bust right with order chain; reverse: crowned manifold arms, order chain around. Very rare, fine gold patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"
