Sincona sale 39, lot 3840

This specimen was lot 3840 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$720 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Matthias, (1608-)1612-1619 Taler 1609. Wien. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias I, 1612-19, thaler of 1609, Vienna mint. Very fine.)"

This product of the Vienna mint was struck 1609-10 and is rather scarce.
