This specimen was lot 1569 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Rudolf II. 1576-1612. Dukat 1598, Wien. Münzmeister Lorenz Huebmer. Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. Leichte Prägeschwäche. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, ducat of 1598, Vienna mint. Very rare, Extremely fine, Slightly weakly struck.)"
Friedberg lists this type from Vienna for 1577-1618 and from Prague (Fr-88) for 1594-1611.
