This specimen was lot 6489 in CNG Triton XXIX (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $245. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA, Holy Roman Empire. Frederich III. Emperor, 1452-1493. AR Kreuzer. Graz mint. Dated 1488. Crowned double-eagle facing with wings spread / Coat-of-arms over short cross pattée; all over long saltire cross pattée. Faint cleaning scratches. VF. From the Robert Levinson Collection." The first guldiners (later renamed the thaler) were struck in Tyrol and Schlick in this period. They were worth sixty kreuzer.
