This specimen was lot 1606 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $72. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Penny, 1943-I (b). George VI. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown." This date was struck in large quantities at Melbourne, Perth and Bombay (shown here). Bombay participated in producing these in 1942-43 only. This is a common date.
