This specimen was lot 33331 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $210. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia: George V Florin 1936-(m) MS64 PCGS, Melbourne mint. Featuring prominent die polish lines on the obverse." The type was issued 1911-36 with Melbourne being the sole producer after 1926. This Melbourne date is fairly common up thru extremely fine but the proofs are rare.
Recorded mintage: 2,382,000 + proofs.
Specification: 11.31 g, 0.925 fine silver, 28.5 mm diameter.
