Sincona sale 63, lot 1524
Ensisheim in upper Alsace. The political situation is of 1477, on the collapse of the Burgundians. Upper Alsace would be ruled by the Hapsburgs until 1648 when it passed to France.

This specimen was lot 1524 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$313 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Erzherzog Leopold V. 1619-1632. Taler 1620, Ensisheim. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Leopold V, 1619-32, thaler of 1620, Ensisheim mint. Very fine.)"
