This specimen was lot 74261 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "ALBANIA. 10 Leke, 1968. Paris Mint. PCGS PROOF-67 Deep Cameo. Countermark to the right of 'LEKE' variety. Commemorating the 500th anniversary of Prince Skanderbeg's death. Tied for the finest certified by PCGS. A popular Albanian commemorative struck with beautiful Deep Cameo contrast that nicely frames the devices. While surfaces remain mainly argent, some magenta-rose and sapphire tone can be spotted in the peripheries." In addition to this NCLT, the communists issued a gold 200 leke (KM 55.1), gold 100 leke (KM 54.1), gold 50 leke (KM 53.1), silver 25 leke (KM 52.1), gold 20 leke (KM 51.1), gold 500 leke (KM 56.1) and silver 5 leke (KM 49.1). Albania not having a mint, these were made in Paris. Varieties exist in the location of the countermark, either to the right or left of the "LEKE".
