This specimen was lot 2073 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "DURRANI: Kamran Shah, 1829-1842, AR rupee, Herat, AH1244, date confirmed by its location atop the reverse, used only in 1244, choice VF, RR." This rupee was struck briefly in AH 1244 then superseded by KM 403, struck AH 1244-1255. Wikipedia comments,
"Kamran Mirza Durrani (Pashto/Persian: کامران میرزا دورانی) was the last Durrani ruler of Herat from 1826 to 1842. He was the son and successor of Mahmud Shah Durrani (r. 1801–1803, 1809–1818)."
