Sincona sale 67, lot 4266

This specimen was lot 4266 in Sincona sale 67 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 25 CHF (about US$33 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Ahmad Shâh, 1327-1344 H./1909-1925 AD, Silver coinage. 2 Qiran 1329 H. Titles and name in wreath, rev. lion and sun above value in wreath, date below. Some weakness in strike, good very fine."

This type was struck AH 1327-1329. It is common.

Recorded mintage: 29,250,000.

Specification: 9.21 g, 0.900 fine silver, this specimen 9.27 g.
