Stack's Bowers September 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 75531

This specimen was lot 75531 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $660. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Penny, 1697. London Mint. William III. PCGS EF-45. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck 1695-98. Most survivors are weakly struck or have problems.
