Shown is an 1783MoFF four reales, one of a type struck at Mexico City 1774-84. Assayer FF is recorded for the years 1778-84. The four reales is the scarcest of the colonial denominations and when found, is usually in low grade.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 13.54 g, .903 fine silver, .393 troy oz ASW.
