Sincona sale 95, lot 4219

This specimen was lot 4219 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 3 Sols 1576, Genf. Mzz. G. Sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion NGSA 18, Genf, November 2022, Los 2107. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, three sols of 1576, Geneva mint, mintmark G. Very Fine.)"

This type was struck nearly continuously 1554-94. Numista does not mention the mintmark clearly visible here. One thaler was 96 sols.

Specification: 4.0 g, billon, 26 mm diameter, this specimen 3.66 g.
