The specimen shown is a steel five pesos of the new circulating type. This piece has a face value (October 2018) of about nine cents and was first issued in 2018. The obverse is the portrait is of Andres Bonifacio.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: probably nickel plated steel.
