Ponterio sale 169, lot 10040

This specimen was lot 10040 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $352. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1577. Graz Mint. Karl II (1564-90). Very scarce. Light scratches. VERY FINE." This type is listed in Davenport for 1576-79.
