Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 880

This specimen was lot 880 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Leopold I (The Hogmouth), 1657-1705, AR 3 kreuzer, 1693, Hall mint, a wonderful example, PCGS graded MS64." The three kreuzer or groschen was struck at numerous mints in the Hapsburg dominions during the reign of Leopold I. This product of the Hall mint is noted for 1692-94 and is common.
