Goldberg Sale 146, part of lot 1723

This specimen was lot 1723 in Goldberg Sale 146 (Los Angeles, July 2025), where it sold for $1,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. "The Queen's Beasts" 500 Pounds, 2017. Weight 1005 grams (Kilo). 999 Silver. Queen Elizabeth II. Reverse: Unicorn of Scotland. In presentation wood box with certificate number 09. One of First 75 Struck, maximum mintage of 225. NGC graded Proof 70 Ultra Cameo." This design was used on two pounds (KM 1442), five pounds (KM 1461), ten pounds (KM 1436), 25 pounds (KM 1474), 100 pounds (KM 1477) and 500 pounds (KM 1484, shown here, and KM 1485 in gold).

Recorded mintage: 225 authorized, 80 sold.

Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine silver, 100 mm diameter.
