Steve Album sale 51, lot 3633

This specimen was lot 3633 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: Arab Republic, AR 5 pounds, 1993/AH1414, Ancient Treasure Series, the Narmer Palette (made ca. 3200-3000 BC), an extraordinary example, NGC graded PF69 Ultra Cameo." This NCLT is among dozens issued by the regime in 1993-94 to honor ancient Egyptian culture. Many of the designs were also used on gold fifty pounds.
