Sincona sale 63, lot 3573

This specimen was lot 3573 in Sincona sale 64 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$1,003 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | St. Gallen | St. Gallen, Abtei. Beda Angehrn von Hagenwil, 1767-1796. 20 Kreuzer 1774, Münzstätte des Klosters. Mzz. H auf Rückseite. Laubrand. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. (abbey of St. Gall, Beda Angehrn von Hagenwil, 1767-96, twenty kreuzer of 1774, mintmark "H" on the reverse. struck within the abbey. Very rare in this condition, About uncirculated.)"

Twenty kreuzer made one third of a gulden.
