This specimen was lot 3193 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUMÄNIEN. Carol I. 1866-1914 1 Leu 1873. Brüssel. Fast vorzüglich. (Romania, Carol I, 1866-1914, one leu of 1873, Brussels mint. About extremely fine.)"
This type was struck at Brussels 1873-76 and is common in worn condition.
Recorded mintage: 4,443,393.
Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .268 troy oz ASW, this specimen 4.96 g.
