This specimen was lot 3194 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUMÄNIEN. Carol I. 1866-1914 50 Bani 1873. Brüssel. Gutes vorzüglich. Kleiner Schrötlingsfehler. (Romania, Carol I, 1866-1914, fifty bani of 1873, Brussels mint. Good extremely fine, Minor planchet defect.)"
This type was struck at Brussels 1873 and 1876 and is common in worn condition. Medal rotation strikes are worth about 2½ times the regular issue.

Specification: 2.5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .268 troy oz ASW, this specimen 2.47 g.
