This specimen was lot 3192 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted,

"RUMÄNIEN. Carol I. 1866-1914 2 Lei 1872. Brüssel. Sehr schön. (Romania, Carol I, 1866-1914, two lei of 1872, Brussels mint. Very fine.)"

This type was struck at Brussels 1872-76 and is common in worn condition.

Recorded mintage: 262,000 plus proofs.
