This specimen was lot 10334 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €288 (about US$300). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Skilling, 1716-CW. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik IV. NGC AU-58. Beautiful coin with a sharp strike and an alluring toning. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." The SCWC states this type was struck 1711-19, all with initials "CW". Common in worn condition, it is very scarce choice. Numista reports a very rare 1726.
