This specimen was lot 10330 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 16 Skilling (Mark), 1714-CW. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik IV. NGC MS-62. Lustrous toning and detailed strike. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1713-16 and was worth one mark or one-sixth speciedaler. Numista notes that it was withdrawn in the 1720's after it was heavily counterfeited.
