Heritage sale 3024, lot 26227

This specimen was lot 26227 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $440.63. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Cent 1915, MS65 Red ICCS, wonderfully preserved with blemish-free fields and speckled burgundy patina atop portions of fresh copper surfaces. From The Nikita Collection." This date is readily available up thru Extremely Fine but somewhat scarce in choice condition.

Recorded mintage: 4,932,134.

Specification: 5.67 g, bronze, 25.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
