This specimen was lot 3136 in Goldberg sale 98 (Los Angeles, June 2017), where it sold for $5,875. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Norway. Speciedaler, 1650-PG. Frederick III, 1648-1670. Crowned bust right. Reverse: Norwegian lion. Expertly repaired on the edge. Toned. Very Fine." This type, struck 1649-51, is quite expensive.
