Jean Elsen sale 141, lot 584

This specimen was lot 584 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €700 (about US$928 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Albert et Isabelle (1598-1621), AR triple réal, 1605, Anvers. D/ B. accolés des archiducs à g. R/ Ecu parti d'Autriche-Bourgogne, couronné, sur une croix de Bourgogne, orné du bijou de la Toison d'or. Très Beau. Provient de notre vente 54, 15 septembre 2001, 1627. (duchy of Brabant, Albert and Isabelle, 1598-1621, silver triple real of 1605, Antwerp mint. Obverse: conjoint busts of the archdukes to left; reverse: crowned arms of Austria-Burgundy over a Burgundian cross, adorned with the jewels of the Golden Fleece. Very Fine.)"

This rare type is listed for Antwerp for 1605-10. The denomination was also struck in Flanders 1607-08 (KM 8) and Tournai 1605-10 (KM 10).
