This specimen was lot 4681 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,100 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIEN, RECKHEIM, Ernst von Aspremont-Lynden, 1603-1636. 1 1/2 Stüber (12 Kreuzer) o. J. Von größter Seltenheit. Prachtexemplar. Vorzüglich +. Exemplar der Auktion WAG Online 127, Februar 2022, Nr. 181. (Belgium, county of Reckheim, Ernest of Aspremont-Lynden, 1603-36, undated 1½ stüber or twelve kreuzer. Extremely rare, cabinet example, extremely fine or better.)"
The town of Reckheim (modern spelling Rekem) is on the west bank of the river Maas (Meuse), today in Belgium. It and neighboring Neerharen were merged into the larger town of Lanaken in the late nineteenth century. The SCWC mentions an extensive list of coinage from this county, including duits, liard, 3 kreuzer, sol, 2 sols, 3 sols, 4 sols and escalins, but none of this denomination.
