This specimen was lot 480 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, October 2010), where it sold for $517.50. The catalog description[1] noted,
"GERMAN STATES. BAVARIA. Maximilian I as Duke-Elector, 1598-1651. Taler, 1626. Lions support oval Arms, date divided below. Rv. Madonna with Child at left, Latin legend A Shield to All Who Hope in Thee. Some silver lustre joins deeper peripheral toning. Choice Extremely Fine."
