Iran AH 1327 shahi

Stack's Bowers September 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 75150

This specimen was lot 75150 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $105. The catalog description^[1] noted, "IRAN. Shahi Sefid, AH1327 (1909). Tehran Mint. Muhammad Ali Shah. PCGS MS-62. A bright argent coin with lustrous surfaces. Somewhat cru[d]e as made, but a delightful little piece." This type was struck AH 1325-1327 and is scarce in nice condition. One shahi was fifty dinars.
